Splash Pad visit

We went to the Splash Pad for a visit. Most of the cousins were there. It was tons of fun for them. I only took a few pictures. Thought this last picture was the cutest. Gates is obviously related to me with his dark hair and white coloring.

Mama Dortha and the great-grandchildren

We had a wedding to attend over the weekend. Most of Todd's family attended the wedding as well. I got a picture of Todd's Grandmother, Mama Dortha with all the great-grandchildren. It was a sight to see.

Memorial Day

We went to my Sister in-law's house for Memorial Day. We had so much fun grilling out steaks and eating homemade strawberry ice cream. The kids had a grand ole time playing with their cousins. The pictures show Gates shooting hoops outside with Todd, Mady Claire riding (not really, Uncle Brian is pushing her) a tricycle and Ella worn out in Granna's arms. Ella had the most fun dressing up in Hannah's princess outfits and clothes.

Gates' 4th Birthday!

Gates celebrated his 4th birthday at the McWane Science Center in downtown Birmingham, Alabama. It was a great birthday party and I HIGHLY recommend having your child's party there. Here are some of the many pictures taken during the party. Gates, Ella and Mady Claire had a ball during the party, and after running the museum looking at all the exhibits. Thank you family and friends who came out to celebrate with us.

Gates also had his four year check-up. He weighed in at 41.2 lbs and was 43 1/2 inches tall. He is in the 90th percentile for height and 75 percentile for weight. He got his last four shots until he is eleven. He was a trooper.

The Girls

We have started calling Ella and Mady Claire "the girls". Here is a picture of the girls in their matching swimsuits that Granna bought them. They even have matching Minnie Mouse cover ups which are even more adorable on them! I believe they are the custest girls ever!!

Todd's mother who we now call "Granna", wanted to get all her grandchildren together for a picture. She hired Leigh Anne from LA Photography in Mount Olive, Alabama. We decided to have the pictures made at the Old Sardis School off Old Sardis Road in Morris, AL. We moved our original session time up a couple of hours due to the rain that was heading our way. The kids were a little fussy but, Leigh Anne was able to capture the most beautiful pictures. She is truly a talented photographer. What a pleasure it was to work with her.
